Weee! Shopping Spree

It was last Saturday, 28^th April, three big-spender girls hitting the Parkson Pre-Sale at Kuantan Berjaya Megamall (one and only acceptable mall here). The one-day sale offers voucher and 5x Bonuslink points. I really care about my Bonuslink points you know (I’m serious) and I like the idea of redeeming vouchers. A good shopper should know how to get more than just the items ecece. But to admit, YES, Ayuni + Anis + Me, lost our money sense that day. My monthly budget (as usual) suda larii huhuhu…

Now, I’m waiting, like a fool I still wait although I don’t have to *duhh. I got an unexpected MMS last week, I’m happy with his out-of-the-blue gesture but I just don’t understand the game anymore. We play with time; the game goes on almost certainly forever. Miserably, I ignore the ‘Quit Game’ button because I’m a bloodthirsty, twitchy, restless opponent. The truth is I’m winning but I’m losing – time is something you can’t rewind. OK, I lied; actually I don’t know who is winning. Better hit the bed, in hoping that Jason Wade, Matt Damon, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Brandon Flowers, Yutaka Takenouchi and Fahrin Ahmad (heheh) will come into my dream. Listening to my lullaby by Mocca, titled “Goodnight Song”…such a simple lovely song…One day I’ll sing it to my child…

Pleasant Surprises!

Yeayy! Noran came to Kuantan on Saturday. It's a pleasant surprise indeed =)! Happened to be that her workshop is at Awana till next Tuesday. Noran came early so that she can spend time with Pa (her bf) and me in Kuantan before heading to Awana. She'll be back to KL on Wednesday. Noran spent a nite at my house. We went eating out at Santai@Tanjung Lumpur and Kemaman Kopitiam. Had girl-talk with Noran. Had little gathering with Pa, Arien, Mmq, Halim and Rudy. Mmq really shed pounds, adding the hotness on him, good for u man. Thank you so much Noran and Pa coz all my makans are on them. Next time nak blanje diorg lak.

Other pleasant surprises throughout last week:

♣ I started the week with my last and only RM 30 (sbb amat2 boros, salah sendiri padan muke); I kept on thinking how am I going to survive for seven days? Daily expenses? Petrol? Thankfully I got through the week with RM 9 left in my wallet. Incredible. Alhamdulillah, surprisingly minggu ni byk org blanje mkn. It’s just plain luck. Like Ayuni said aku murah rezeki on the right time. Today gaji masok, so no more worries =p.

♣ Got an email from Training Department, the 5-days Crystal Report Training is postponed bcoz the trainer suda resigned, alasan yg amat lawak! (Jimat minyak keteku xyah travel)

♣ One morning, as I opened my new messages, there was a message from my primary school ex-bf. Hahahahaaa, back to those kanak2 ribena days, seeing him again after 10++ years kinda make my day amusingly beautiful. Thank you dude. (FYI, he’s happily in a relationship)

♣ I heard news about my other ex-bf back on Uni days. Both bad news and good news – all are predictable. Good news first, he has a new gf, woww he’s faster than me! It is a pleasant surprise bcoz back then he (even I) said that I’d be the first to move on hahaha. Of course I’m curious which one he picked, it is kinda predictable from the start coz I know that after I walked away, there are only 2 potential girls, actually 3 but I don’t think he’ll consider the 3^rd one huhu. He picked the prettiest one obviously, good for him. About the bad news, I rather not talk about his problems here, in a way - good for me (thank god).

Talked with Zura on the phone, briefly she mentioned about her past ‘liberating moments’. Maybe I’m experiencing one right now =). We cannot prevent what we cannot predict (Desperate Housewives Season 3). Great power comes with great responsibility (My bro’ Syapiq, ceh rupenye die amek kat cte Spiderman, oh Spiderman 3 kuar 1^st May ni). As for me, always be honest and true, you’ll find happiness eventually. Time will tell. I’ll just wait for more pleasant surprises!

Ladies Day 2007

Event: BASF PETRONAS Chemicals Ladies Day 2007
Date/Time: 14th April 2007 (Saturday), 9am - 3pm
Venue: Balai Truntum, Astana Golf Club, Kuantan
Theme: Lady in Red
Registration Fee: RM20

The annual event is opened to all ladies staff and staff's wives of our company. There were many activities throughout the day - Cha-cha Dance, Health Talk, Fashion Show, Tudung Demonstration, Handicraft Making, Makeup Techniques etc. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Each participant got a shawl as the door gift.

I took part in the Fashion Show for both Busana Anggun and Busana Moden. I had a great fun time that day. The greatest part was when I won the ‘Best Dressed Award’ (huhu padehal pakai baju lame - baju kebaya Batch Dinner UTP last year). The prize was Pink Grapefruit Body Shop’s body & bath set. Thank you to all voters hehe. The RM20 is certainly a worthy investment.

Room Raiders Kuantan

Stranded here in Gebeng + Balok, I try my best to make myself comfortable in my own bujang room. It’s still lack of furnishings but my room is definitely organized. Here are some bits and pieces:

How I wish I could buy a nice complete bedroom set especially with huge almari baju and big makeup table. A mirror that has coverage from head to toe would be a total plus too. Talking about bedroom set, actually my priority is to buy one for my own new hometown room at Seremban. Don’t have the money laaa haih.

I love house cleaning and home-décor. I rather clean the house all day long than cook a meal because the efforts worth it all. Still berangan lagi of decorating my dream home. Aaaahh home sweet home =)

Ticket to the Future

sooOoOo many things happened in a short period of time. Here in this post I would just list all the things that can pop out of my mind:

v     My love for Wengurls never dies; the weekend gathering was an absolute fun, lpaskan rindu, all the way from Sunway Pyramid to The Curve

v     I visited my uncle, PakTeh at Kuantan Medical Centre last Monday right after I drove back to Kuantan. He told me his problem, he’s in great difficulties and I don’t know how to help =(

v     Boros sgt2 this month =P, I’ve been spending like I have all the money in the world, pastu now cam tak yakin je ngn duit yg tinggal huhuhu. I did Kerastase hair treatment, Dermalogica facial treatment (my first facial treatment ever), bought new Nokia 6300

v     Jason Wade (Lifehouse) and John Mayer are two of the greatest lyricists ever

v     Cut my pay RM50 per month for zakat pendapatan, I view it as an investment for akhirat, isk isk daku sedar diriku ini manyak dose

v     On this 14th April, I'll be one of the models for BASF-PETRONAS Ladies Day fashion show (hahahah gelak kuat2 coz mmg x seswaii langsung). I thought it would be just a simple fashion show but wahhh baru aku tau diorg beriye sungguh coz we have trial & fitting sessions at different boutiques & rehearsal bcoz they need to choreograph our 'catwalks' then. Gilak aii, bikin gue cuak.

v     Later on 23rd to 27th April, I’ll be out of office. I will attend Crystal Report Training, but sadly, again, it is in Kuantan. Ble la bley g jln jauh2 sket *sigh*

This blog has become kind of like a journal in a short form. Maybe I will stop blogging, but then maybe not. Rite now, I'm living my life one day at a time without plans and expectations on how the future will be. My future is a complete blank slate. I'm not afraid of the infinite possibilities, but I'm afraid because it's blank. But I can still say that I do feel happy at times, not bad after all eh. Well, like Shasha said few days ago, life is slowly taking control of us. I guess we are not in control anymore, here I scream a little “ H. E. L. P. ”
