Look What I Bought Myself

I just love planning my future buys and what-to-do list, in a way it helps me to keep on moving, so that I can be distracted from the dullness of my everyday life. OK, the truth is I (in nature) love to spend spend spend. So when there’s ka-chingg!-sound in my account, I start jumping. On my mind, there are two things that I need to get – an eye cream and a wardrobe unit.

Past two months, I started my hunt for a new worthy eye cream as my current Dermalogica Total Eye Care is expected to be heading to the bin really soon. In the end of my research, I have to choose between Estee Lauder and Clinique. I have good history with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Recovery Complex - bought 2 times before, very satisfied with the result, I totally recommend it, RM180++. But then there’s a price gap with Clinique All About Eyes RM130++. I bought Clinique because I’m eager to try new one, plus it has good reviews in the mags & on the net, and now there’s RM160 promo set that comes with 5 freebies…nice! Go get ‘em girls, worth buying, limited for Christmas sale I guess…

Look

As for the new wardrobe, it was love-at-first-shop, eyeing it together with Ayuni and Anis after Saturday’s lunch. I continued my search at other 5 furniture shops as well, but can’t find the design structure and bargain like the first one. So I went back to the first shop, and got it delivered to my rent-house within an hour. What I love about it most is the sliding mirror inside =). But somehow I think I need a bigger wardrobe in near future *grin*. One day, I’ll make sure I have a special wardrobe room, complete with storage system - wardrobe combination, drawers and shelves. The room will be WoWw! Ye, mengaku, aku sgt sgt la banyak gile berangan siot

And on Sunday, I blew RM100++ for weekly groceries alone. Huhh lately I’m worried about the way I spend. There are people that actually offer to help me control-it-a-bit. But then I hardheadedly still want to hold the full-control position. The only problem when I’m in control is that I’ll definitely be out of control *sigh*

That’s all folks for this entry. Thank u for reading. Any financial advice?

Distance Issue with My Top 10 People

Relationship is always a favorite topic of mine. Usually I write about it in a happy optimistic tone. But in this post, I want to write with an added serious tone, so readers, please imagine the seriousness ok ~.

Top10

Zura finally came to Kuantan last weekend. (Yeayyy =)!) Thanks for coming, do come again gurl! Yeah we talked a lot. One of the topics is that we both worry on Wengurls seem to be drifting apart. It’s been +/- 2 months since our last group outing. And I wasn’t there at Apid’s house last month. And where all the emails go nowadays? Hey hey Wengurls, Sha+Aleen+Ja+Noran+Fina+Diha+Apid+Fira+Zura, come on, we have to do something before it’s too late.

We drift apart because our lives progress through different stages with newer distractions, and the things that the clique used to have in common seem to diminish. We’re no longer in the same university (oh I miss those “old times” fun), instead scattered here and there in Malaysia to work. Every member of Wengurls grows in different directions. But I think that the growth is still somewhat complementary - we have more diverse topics to chat about. What we need is to frequently make the effort to update each other on a regular basis about what is going on in our lives.

A week passed by, mrCarlos is again, no longer in Kuantan =( *sob*sob* back in KL. The distance and his absence make my heart grows fonder, looking forward to see him again before our hearts make room to wander (haihh, hopefully it’ll never reach that point). Last week was a mini-falling-in-love ~ the bittersweet absence and the coming together once more. Hurt or help. Good or bad. Oohhs or aahs. Time will tell.

Tinkling Feelings I Adore

I just moved in to a different rent house in Kuantan town. Goodbye to the suburb Balok, say hello to the slightly-urban Air Putih area. Just the two of us in the house, I can consider Ayuni as my so-called ‘landlord’ hehe. Comforting change, sure it costs me more, but I’m loving my new environment. My family including my grandparents already ‘ambushed’ the new house last Sunday morning. Plus, a free lunch at Teluk Chempedak, thanks to Atuk.

My ‘anticipation-schedule’ is set a week earlier. Initially mrCarlos told me that he’ll be in Kuantan on Monday morning. On the night before the much awaited day, he called and asked, “Do u want to see me when I’m in town?” “U really want to see me?” “Miss me or not?” “Just see tomorrow then?” on and on he mischievously teasing me with those questions haishh… Surprise, surprise, the next 30 minutes, he showed up in front of the house, tipu kunun Monday ceitt. Oh-boy-miss-him-so! There’re f.l.o.w.e.r.s bubbling in my heart =) and I was such a happy dainty fluffy white bunny that night… and the feelings linger …*Damn baby*
