Virgo Vertigo
In the beginning he came across as flirtatious veritable tease, even absurdly direct at times. He asked me to marry him once, “Gilerr!” I thought. Time passes by, his true Virgo nature emerges in full force now, he seems to have lost his love for the chase, preferring to comfortably ‘cozy up’ with me instead... “What duh?!” – Now I’m confused.

Tuesday, 10.50 pm, it was raining the night he picked me up at Kuantan Airport (Daytime, I was in Subang for a morning meeting). I opened the door and just threw the laptop bag, my white bag and plastic bag (shopping) onto the back seat of the car. My white bag fell off from the seat. He was "heypp.." I just said "Ooops..". He arranged it back. I was tired and a bit wet, kene hujan sket mase turun from plane tadi. We chitchatted a bit; then we realized a slow romantic song was on the radio, I glanced outside, and he’s in silence, whoaa somehow we felt quirky at the same time. Then he sang along to the last line “…Sempurna”. I was like Oh-God-ApeNi-Shit. The song was Sempurna by Andra & the Backbone.
I told him I’m busuk, tak mandi lagi since morning. He made fun of me... at least we laughed to beat the moment just now. He asked me “What did u buy today?” I responded “Eh, how did u know I went shopping? I don’t remember telling u”. “Because u didn’t call me in the evening after work, so I know laa”. I was like “Ok, u got me there” (Actually, sempat singgah Sunway Pyramid). I kinda reluctant to show him the items I bought because I feel that men don’t bother much about my shopping. But he insisted and even put the light on. He said better show to him now because he’ll hardly notice all the small things later. Soon after, we reached the futsal place, he introduced me to his some other mates. Zura called me while I was there; she just came back from her Dubai-Vienna-Rome trip.

Yesterday, 7.30 pm, he suggested buying our dinner at local pasar malam in town. It’s been a while since my last visit to a night market…so yeah, I agreed. We bought nasi kerabu daging bakar, kacang rebus (we pronounced it like ‘Ada Apa Dengan Cinta’ dialogue) and 1 kg mangos for dessert. He dared putting his arm around me as we strode along…So much of just being ‘comfortable’ huhh. Dude you wanna play a game, push the ‘ON’ button first. But oh I admit here, he can be such a catch. With him, I would indeed have to let go the abstractions of storybook romance. He's a 100% practical person. It’s the end of all my romantic dreams and fairy tales. Ouch, that can hurt. And again I’m confused…
P/S: Would u be with someone who can take u up to the sky (u might fall, thrilling but deadly) or guide & walk with u on the ground (u might fall also, jadedly)?
