Learning To Breathe

Quack!

I always have peculiar thoughts crossing my mind whenever I’m driving alone. Yesterday’s thought was “I’m not an expert liar”, I really wish I am one. I think to master the art of lying; you have to be able to lie to yourself first. The stronger you believe in your own lie, the easier it will be. So often, I could never be able to hide it all – not everything, not to everyone. I guess I can only be just OK at semi-permanent deception. But darn good white lies will always be essential eh ~ am still learning though.

Today’s thought? Well today I really want to say out loud:

“Oh shut the fuck up!”

Wed-ding-a-dingding

Ramainye org kawen or yg ade unsur2 kawen semenjak dua ni!!! This makes me want to be married also. Few of my friends also have the urge. It’s normal. Sometimes I can go like this "Nak kawen, nak kawen" hehe, mak oi gataii sungguh haih. Jgn risau, xkronik pon, gimik je lebey =P.

On Saturday - The morning call from mrCarlos woke me up. Long talk, can’t remember much what I mumbled, but I did say "You are like a big teddy bear y'know" and he went "yeah", well that’s what you get when you talk to little msDiyana in snooze mood. Then I made up the bed, did my laundry and kemas2 my room. Close to 12.30 pm, Ayuni told me that Dhuha is on the way to pick us up. We’re going to Shida’s wedding. I put on my red kebaya. Jgn xtau Dhuha kan tibe2 dpt 'boifren baru' at the wedding haha. Nighttime, (my first time vote) AFUNDI RIZ 3x, Dhuha 1x, isk isk xpela, dpt 2nd place pon kire ok laa…

On Sunday - Guling2 on the bed until close to noon. Ayuni was cooking when I went downstairs. Then I had my shower and put on my red kebaya again. I stopped by at Berjaya Megamall to buy the wedding gift as mrFoot asked me to. Somehow I felt annoyed when he rang me for few times, tunggu je la aku settlekan hishh. Thankfully by the time I got there, I’ve cool down. Had my free lunch at Faizal bro’s wedding – mrFoot's jiran depan rumah. Later he invited me to his typical rumah bujang, layannn his 3 friends mengadap PS2 (MU vs. AC Milan) while he’s in shower. After he’s ready, he asked a friend to take our 1^{st ever} pic together. Damn, I wasn’t all set, I swear gamba tu buroks, benci. At 4++ pm, he set off to Jengka & Temerloh with Eddy for other wedding n stuff. Frankly, rase annoyed dr awal2 lg sbb teringin nak ikut sebenarnye isk isk…

MsZura-Getaway

Last week, Zura was in Kuantan from Wednesday till Friday for her SAP training at MTBE. Having her here was like a little getaway, we had fun together at Hyatt Regency Kuantan - I always love Hyatt’s scenery especially its poolside.

On Wed evening, I picked her up at the airport from work. We had our dinner at Secret Recipe. Borak2, ironing, laptop-ing, Zura slept early that night. Thu morning, figured out MU menang eh, sian Chelsea. Back from work, I joined Zura in the pool sampai Maghrib. Waaaaa me likey… here are some pics:

Ayuni+Zura+me had sushi for dinner @ SushiKing, Kuantan East Coast Mall. Next, we spoiled ourselves with the-always-yummy Big Apple Donut. MrFoot called and ‘persuaded’ Zura to follow me and meet him at futsal. So off we went to watch him play futsal. And I was surprised when he confessed to Zura “I’m her bf” while referring to me. Hoho, peliks kan. Even Zura pon asked him 2 times to reconfirm. For me it’s still unofficial, I’m not fully convinced yet hmmmph.

Thanks for the free buffet breakfasts tu ea Zura! Above all, thank you for being here. Come again.

Hobo

We had a long dinner together last night - good food and good conversation. I had long conversation with Zura on the phone too, Zura kene sakat in the end by him. mrFoot and I even borak2 with the owners (husband & wife) of the restaurant, he knew them long before. I didn’t know how to react to some ‘cepuemas’ questions - I acted damn cool about it, while he’s being his usual self laa (haihh).

We switched back our cars - I was using his and he’s using mine for the last few days. As I was driving back, he called. I picked up and asked "Knape?" He said "Tertinggal beg kat seat belakang, tgk ade x?" I glanced to the back and saw a handbag. "Ade, beg perempuan" (dlm hati dah start panas dah ni). I asked "Awk nk sy patah balik x?" Then he told me "utk awk..." Awww he bought it for me when he was in KL@Uptown with best buddy Eddy on Sunday. His reason was "sy beli sbb nmpak mcm cantik, Eddy pon ckp molek". I thanked him before we hung up. Oh gumbira hatiku. But to be frank, taste lelaki belikan ladies handbag, adoiii, taste diorg mmg x synchronize dgn diriku huhu. Whatsoever, it’s the thought that counts... =). I realized byk dah post about mrFoot eh lately. Please bare with me ya. Bukan senang hatiku berbunga-bunga nih…korang layankan aje.

Smiling Sweetheart

Yesterday, Kepen just found out that mrCarlos is just in front of him all this while. It's been months since I first asked and finally he managed to find mrCarlos, selang satu desk je ek. Yeayy and it was so funny - you really made me laugh la dude!

To me, mrCarlos is a real bear of a man, nice yet nasty vice versa. He's like the biggest teddy bear a little girl gets on her birthday. We're fine now when we're in the same story just not in the same page. He still calls occasionally, still calls me 'yang' and I'm absolutely ok with that, ape2 la labuuu.

Starting of May, Super-Long Detailed Post, Baca Puas2!

30^th April, Wednesday –

Let me show you my workplace. Exclusive ni sbb bukan senang nak cakap pasal keje dalam blog nih. Below is my desk. Tamak kan sbb everyday pakai both desktop and laptop at the same time hoho.

I attended the launching of my previous project called ‘Centric Integration Planning’. It was organized by the requestors of the application. Somewhat a grand event – attended by big bosses, the door gift, the presentation, the lunch wah wah wahh. But diorang jual nama sendiri2 la, biase la tu nanti kene puji. The regional sites are already interested with it and asked for a copy. Even our Managing Director suggested nominating it for the ‘BASF Excellence Award’. But here I let u guys know that I’m the one (alone) who developed every inch of that application. I make it happens. My bosses jokingly asked me to hide/encrypt the codes. I’m still not in love with my job.

At night, direct from work, Ayuni and I hit the newly open Kuantan East Coast Mall. Another shopping destination for Kuantan people, yes, we really need one. There are few additional choices of label like MNG, Roxy, Quicksilver, Padini, Crocs, SaSa, Ruffey. But its Parkson is just so-so; I still prefer the old one at Berjaya Megamall. And not so much of outstanding makan-makan options. I hope there will be many other things to offer in near future. Anyway, I bought a new pair of heels cost of RM119.

1^st May, Thursday –

It’s public holiday, happy Labor Day! MrFoot made the plan last night to take me to the East Coast Mall in the evening (In his mind, I’ve never been there yet). Turned out, he was so busy at daytime, bla bla blaa, then suddenly have unforeseen end-season dinner gathering with the team pulak huhhh. I was very upset at first, but after dipujuk on phone for 15 minutes with fine points, I felt rather ok sket.

So antara pujukannye, at night we met at Berjaya Megamall instead. mrFoot came with his junior after the dinner. I was there a bit earlier, bought some stuff already. We went to Nike, Adidas and lastly Nike Women to search for my new pair of sport shoes + socks (Not bcoz I love sports but bcoz I need them for next weekend CF Teambuilding activities @ DusunEco). Thanks to his privilege, I can get 20% off every item storewide, including the new arrivals. Yeayy! From RM200++, I save RM46 here. The junior was being buli-rela by him to carry all my shopping bags. Maybe it’s part of tradition that I don’t understand.

Next, all 3 of us went for supper at the CoffeeStreet. It was raining heavily. In the car, he showed me the house brochures, he’s considering one. In return, I showed him my new pair of heels =P. At 11++ pm gerak balik. He gave me a brooch set, blue butterflies, he bought it during his trip to Sabah few days back. Sweet little surprise, dingdong.

2^nd May, Friday –

I took a day off; I applied the leave without any specific purpose. Just when I thought I would be bored alone at home (Ayuni’s working), well boy I went places! Kepen and Fiena pleasantly surprised me when they came to Kuantan all the way from KL.

We all lepaking at my house until 5 pm. After that, I went to mrFoot’s office (my 1^st time) with Kepen and Fiena. Then off they went to East Coast Mall with my car while I went upstairs to see mrFoot. I followed the pak guard. There’re few people around in the office. He’s still doing work. I took my time discovering – the articles, the awards, the pictures, the files and the little stuff on his desk. I played with his pda. After everybody left, he told me his stories – how he started, his accomplishments and even the pay he gets. And for finale (expectedly), he gave me lecture on the plan for myself. (Adeihh adeih) I know, but I told him not now la dear. Different sides of him are appealing, pros and cons; he’s slowly letting me in and I’m crashing to the unknown.

Around 7++ pm, together we set off to the East Coast Mall. I introduced him to Kepen and Fiena. Then we all continued jalan2 separately. mrFoot was looking for jeans, in the end die yg shopping byk, I only bought a bra set for myself. In the fitting room, I just figured out that he’s into designers for real – he was wearing Paul Smith pants (What? Haaa?). Then found out he even has Prada shoes. He told me he just bought 2 Paul Smith shirts last week @ klcc (hey I remembered calling him that time, oo shopping rupenye). Amboii mmg kalah aku bab membazir.

At 9++ pm, he dropped me at Kemaman Kopitiam and drove off for other things; I met Fiena, Kepen, Faliq & his gf there. Already late for dinner! Noran, Pa, Arien and Teeos were waiting for us at Tanjung Lumpur. Very very sorry guys. Mmg kene tiau abes la aku ngn Arien sbb lambat mlm tu. The seafood was great and I love gathering with friends. Good laugh all around. We lepak at that Kedai-Makcik-Halau until 12++ am. And Fiena stayed for the night at my house, we had girl talk till 4 in the morning. =) ZzZzz.

3^rd May, Saturday –

Ayuni was already out for her beach soccer competition. I woke up as Kepen stood in front of the house. Fiena woke up earlier than me when her boss called her to do some work. I was sleepy and feeling blurry in front of the TV with Kepen. Fiena went down after she’s all ready to go. So I pulled my ass up to get myself ready.

We had our lunch at Oldtown Kopitiam. We talked a lot. I remembered a point we discussed about being in undefined relationship. Well, all 3 of us are in one. Baby that’s a fact and I’m OK with it for now, maybe not for tomorrow, who knows. Abes sesi makan, maka pulanglah mereka ke KL kembali. Always happy to have you guys around. Do come again eh. Tak salah ponteng keje lagi hehe.

I was sleepy all through the day. Tdo, bangun, baring, tido huhu lemau - hibernation mode. At night, had dinner, watched TV and layan Ayuni’s travel pics. I immediately slept as I laid down on my bed.

4^th May, Sunday –

Alamak dah panjang gile post ni. Dah malas pulak. To sum the day up:

-      Lunch out with Ayuni at Kemaman Kopitiam nearby our house.

-      Picked up Dhuha afterward at her house and we went shopping at East Coast Mall (lagi!). Dhuha gile kaye ko shopping byk lagi walopun baru abes 6rat kut kat Pasar Payang. We had dinner at Laksa Shack. Me, melayang RM170.

-      Nighttime, Ayuni and me stayed at home. I drafted this post.

Okeh settle. Power month of May continued…
